Bluff Online Poker Challenge

Bluff Magazine is one of the leading poker journals, which covers both land poker casinos and online poker sites. Apart from being a storehouse of the latest information, Bluff Magazine offers several exciting features. It ranks players at online poker sites on a continuous basis. Its annual list Bluff Power 20 of the most influential entities in poker is much awaited. This year the men associated with the online poker sites FullTilt.com and PokerStars.com were at the top two places. In April Bluff Magazine has launched a unique online poker competition.

This event is the Bluff Online Poker Challenge, which is taking place exclusively at the online poker site Lock.Poker.com. Each participant can enter the competition with a bankroll he is comfortable with. There are no restrictions. The competition runs for the full month of April 2011. The participant has to increase his bankroll by playing in ring games, multi-table tournaments and SNGs. The minimum weekly play required is 250 SNGs/MTTs or 2,000 raked hands. Participants can reload their accounts at any time during the challenge period. They can enter the competition any time in April but must meet the above conditions. The winner of the Bluff Online Poker Challenge is the player who shows the greatest profit.

Though there is no cash prize on offer, the stakes are high. The winning player will appear on the July 2011 cover of Bluff Magazine. This is an honor for which the best of poker professionals would give an arm and a leg. The winner will also feature in a six month marketing campaign. The online poker site LockPoker.com will offer the winner a two year LockPRO ELITE Sponsorship. The icing on the cake is a free seat to this year’s World Series of Poker main event, where there is a chance of winning upwards of $8 million. A good performance at WSOP opens many doors for online poker players. It made Chris Moneymaker (in picture) a household name.

Bluff Magazine president Eric Morris said, “We really are in a new generation of poker where online Pros are the new rock stars. We want to be a part of making the next amazing player really matter. This is a life changing moment for any serious poker player out there and we are excited to be a part of it.”
