The only restriction is that the value of the total prize package cannot exceed $100,000. This package will be given to the winner of the sixth final, which is termed as the Grand Final or the Game of Your Life event. It will be held on May 22.
And there will be more than a million dollars paid out to the winners of the tournaments along the way. Five of these will be the weekly finals that have been scheduled for April 17, April 24, May 1, May 8 and May 15 at PokerStars.com. Each of these events has a total prize pool of $100,000 with the top prize being $10,000. All the six finals, including the Game of Your Life, are freeroll events. No entry fee will be charged but entry will be through a series of qualifier poker tournaments.
The daily qualifiers have begun at the online poker site PokerStars.com and will run till May 21. There are five freerolls a day for American players and five freerolls for players from the rest of the world. The top 108 players will advance to each final event. The other set of qualifiers at PokerStars.com is the 10FPP Qualifier. As in the earlier case there will be daily five poker tournaments for American players and five tournaments for other players. In this case the top 67 players will advance to each final.
PokerStars.com players who make their first real money deposit of $10 or more, or who reload their existing accounts with a deposit of $50 or more, will be credited with a ticket for the $100,000 Freeroll Final of their choice, including the big one on May 22.
