Party Poker has been around for years and they offer some of the largest tournaments in the industry. The lack of US players is definitely a downside to Party Poker, but the action is incredible. The traffic is very high so the higher stake levels tend to see a rather large crowd. All levels of competition can be found at Party Poker. If you're playing in the high roller rooms, you will probably encounter a few professional poker players.
Party Poker has an abundance of donkeys (inexperienced/bad players) and they tend to stick in the low-midrange stake levels, but occasionally they migrate to higher stakes rooms as well. It's not uncommon to see a few solid players in this range building up their bankroll. The software runs efficiently and multi-tabling couldn't be easier. There's a reason Party Poker generates a lot of traffic and it's quite simple: players enjoy playing at Party Poker.
