The minimum and maximum deposits you can make at RPM depend on which deposit method you’re using; they range from $10 minimums to $50,000 maximums.
RPM Poker Bonuses and Promotions
RPM Poker is jammed full of bonuses and various ongoing promotions. The main one though is their ultra-big initial deposit bonus which rewards you by matching your funds by 150% to a huge maximum of $750. Let’s take a look how this works in practice.
Once you’ve made the deposit and start playing with your real money account, you will begin to earn VIP Points, which I will explain more about later. But essentially what happens is for every 75 VIP Points that you accumulate, you’ll earn $1 of the bonus, and that’s paid into your RPM account in pieces of $10.
One of the really great things about the RPM Poker bonus is the timescale they give you for clearing it – probably currently the most generous on the market at 90 days from making the first deposit.
As well as that nice welcome bonus, you will also get a freeroll ticket, valid for 14 days, which you can use to play in one of the first deposit freerolls, which have a $500 prize-pool.
RPM always features various promotions on an ad-hoc basis, but two which are ongoing are the Bad Beat Jackpot and the Royal Flush Bonus. The RPM Bad Beat Jackpot builds its funds from qualifying cash table games and grows and grows (using funds from across the Merge network of sites) until it pays out. Previously it has hit $1,000,000 so there is a massive amount of potential here if you do hit. The idea is that if you lose a cash table hand holding quad sevens or better, it pays out and the player with the losing hand gets a nice big chunk of that. We can guarantee if you hit it, you won’t be moaning about your bad beat any more!
The Royal Flush bonus is pretty self-explanatory – this one pays out if you hit a Royal using both hole cards in a cash game. If you do, you can score yourself 100 times the big blind up to a maximum of $1000 – you just need to email the support team the details of the hand and they’ll credit your account. A great way of making the absolute nuts even better!
RPM Poker Software
As well as giving it great levels of player traffic, being on the Merge network means playing at RPM gives you some of the best poker software in the world. Merge offers excellent support for playing multiple tables (basically an unlimited amount), a highly intuitive poker lobby, and plenty of ways to customize it.
Its default ‘skin’ is pretty slick and great looking anyway, but if you want to try something different, hit the arrow in the top right corner of the table and choose Custom Colors.
You’ll notice it comes loaded up with twelve different preset table themes, all of which look pretty damn awesome. But the beauty is, if you don’t like them, you can tweak pretty much any area you want, specifically the interface, card back, carpet, rail and table, each of which comes with a whole load of colours and patterns to choose from. So no matter whether you want something really simple and ultra-sleek, to something really loud and wacky, it’s an absolute breeze to configure it and get it looking perfect for you.
If you are multi-tabling, you will probably find that RPM lends itself more to cascading than tiling, depending on how many you’re playing – this is just because you can’t take the table size down to something really small. However you should be able to easily get a tile formation of around six going if you have a wide screen monitor.
As you’d expect, you can record notes on your opponents but also there is the option to ‘tag’ them using eight possible icons, for example ‘shark’, ‘fish’ and so on.
Finally, it’s worth mentioning they have a ‘show one card’ option when your opponent mucks, and also a ‘rabbit hunt’ facility where you can see what would have happened had the flop, turn or river actually played out – great for the curious player!
RPM Poker Game Selection
RPM provide pretty much any format of poker you could ever wish to play. They offer:
- Texas Hold’em (No Limit, Pot Limit, Fixed Limit)
- Omaha (Pot Limit, Limit)
- Omaha Hi/Lo (No Limit, Pot Limit, Limit)
- 7 Card Stud (Pot Limit, Limit)
- 7 Card Hi/Lo (Pot Limit, Limit)
- Razz (Pot Limit, Limit)
- 5 Card Stud (Pot Limit, Limit)
- 5 Card Draw (Pot Limit, Limit)
- Triple Draw (Pot Limit, Limit)
- Badugi
- and Mixed.
Stakes go as high as $50/100 with really good levels of traffic at all of them. You can also use the Play Money option if you would like to try the games out first.
In addition to their online poker offerings, RPM also features casino games which include Roulette, Blackjack, Video Poker and Caribbean Stud. Perfect for the gambler in you!
RPM Poker Rewards Program
RPM runs a pretty generous poker player loyalty scheme, called the VIP Program. Their concept, in fitting with their brand, is based around you climbing the statuses, or what they call ‘gears’. So you start as a brand new player in 1st gear, climbing to 2 gear when you hit 100 Points, going all the way up to J, Q, K and A gear.
The higher your ‘gear’ the better your benefits become. These benefits include (depending on your status), points exchange for cash, and better monthly freerolls.
As well as cashing the VIP Points in for cash bonuses, you can also use them for entry into any RPM poker tournament. It’s a wonderfully simple reward scheme that its players love.
RPM Poker Customer Service
RPM make a big deal out of their customer support facilities and rightly so. As you might expect, firstly there is a great support section of their website where you can find answers to most questions pretty much straight away. But if not you can email them 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Or, if you’d prefer an instant answer, you can use the live technical support facility which is available using the link on the top right hand of the support web page, it will say ‘Live Chat Online’ when their operators are manning it.
One thing you can certainly be sure of – these guys really mean business with their support and with a dedicated customer service and technical support team who are extremely helpful and polite, it’s a pleasure if you do have the need to contact them.
